Yay for Friday and February! I love the start of a new month and the feeling of being one month closer to SPRING! I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite things that I've been enjoying lately, in no particular order. Here we go!

My husband and kids bought me the Mirror for Christmas and my birthday last month. I've been thinking about getting one for the last several months and was hesitant because of the hefty price tag and fear I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost. Turns out I use it daily and it's worth every.single.penny. Honestly since COVD hit and gyms shut down my workout routine has suffered (and by that I mean it stopped. Like completely). In the 3 short weeks I've had the Mirror I have logged 19 workouts. NINETEEN. Pretty sure that's more than I did in all of 2020 combined. It's safe to say I am obsessed with this thing and the variety it provides. The classes are high energy, the trainers are top notch and the footprint is small and sleek. Couple it with a few sets of weights and you have a first class gym in your home. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.

This book, y'all. It's been an eye opener and a game changer for me. It asks all the questions many white Americans are afraid to ask, yet all Americans need to hear in order to fix the systemic racism in our country. In this time of unrest and divide, this book is giving me hope for growth and healing.

So this isn't so much one I've enjoyed, but I can tell you my kids live and die by these banana chocolate chip muffins and making them every week makes my heart happy. This recipe is literally one I've baked on the regular since my kids were toddlers, and even though I much prefer cooking over baking I've made these so many times that I could do it in my sleep. With only 7 ingredients and some handmade love they are so much healthier than any packaged snacks and my kids LOVE them, so it's a win win. I'm pretty sure I'll be making these to send in college care packages in 10 years. Yep, they're that good.

I try to drink at least 80 ounces of water every day, but I gotta tell you it's just plain boring sometimes. These are a great way to spice up your water intake and fool your taste buds into thinking they are cheating on you. Did I mention they have zero calories, zero sodium, and zero sugar? They are the true hero of carbonated water.
Fun fact: LimonCello is the best La Croix flavor, and drinking it makes me feel like it will be sunny and 70 again someday. I highly suggest incorporating La Croix into your life, you won't regret it.
That's all I've got this week for favorites, but I'd love to hear some of yours! What is keeping you sane and smiling these days?
